I have always believed knowledge is power.
When I found out my son had food allergies, I began my research. I checked every label before he consumed something. Eight years in, his allergies aren’t scary, they are just a part of our life. It’s what we do…Why? Because knowledge is power.
I have a little girl who loves watching me put my makeup on every morning. Before I know it, she won’t pretend that she’s putting on makeup. She will be using it herself! This is why it is so important for me to know what’s in our beauty products.

Beautycounter's Never List
The Never List™ is made up of more than 1,800 questionable or harmful chemicals that we never use as ingredients in our products. This includes the over 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals screened by Beautycounter and found to be of concern.
Recently a few companies came under scrutiny because the products they were distributing, targeted for children, contained asbestos in them. That’s right makeup for little girls contained toxic, poisonous ingredients.
Is this being done on purpose? Hopefully not.
Since there aren’t many regulations on the cosmetics industry, companies are able to use products with questionable and even toxic ingredients.
That’s why I am so passionate about Beautycounter’s products. Each one is screened three times before being released to the public for sale.
Currently, there are 1,800 ingredients that have been banned from our products. Even if you don’t choose Beautycounter products, make sure what you do choose is really safe for you and your family.
Remember, just because it says “natural” or “safe” that doesn’t mean it is.
